Social Responsibility

As an organisation, we believe in real transformation and leading by example.  We are continuously seeking ways to actively support important initiatives across South African communities.  This commitment is visible enough in our contributions which range from time, resources and consulting to financial recourses as well which we carry individually as BravCon and through our founder Group company Bravura.  We also encourage our employees to support initiatives that are important to them.

Phakamani Foundation

Our key initiative which spans across both Enterprise Development and Socio-Economic Development, is Phakamani Foundation of which Alana Bond is also a board member. 

The Phakamani Foundation, operates in the White River area and provides microloans to black women in rural communities, giving them the ability to start their own small businesses and start the process of getting themselves and their families out of poverty.

Phakamani's mission is to

• provide opportunities for people in systemic poverty to improve their lives
• strengthen communities among the poor that will enable the poor to rise up out of poverty
• provide training and counsel that will enable the community to work towards the reduction of poverty
• provide guidance and practical help to the poor
• facilitate a positive change in the social, spiritual and economic conditions of the poor
